The Animal and Natural Resource Law Review seeks to explore the legal and public policy issues surrounding animals and natural resources at all levels of government: local, state, national, comparative national and international. All perspectives are welcome. The Journal will be web-published in its entirety, but hard print copy shall also be available.

About Us

As one of three legal journals housed in the Michigan State University College of Law, the Journal of Animal and Natural Resource Law possesses a unique history. ANRLR's roots are derived from a national animal rights organization that was gracious enough to fund our publication. In recent years, the Journal has expanded its subject matter to encompass the field of natural resource law. We invite you to gain a more complete picture of ANRLR's history by clicking this link.

Symposia

Each year, the Animal and Natural Resource Law Review hosts a symposium to examine an emerging issue in animal law and/or natural resource law. In planning the event, ANRLR strives to select panels of nationally and internationally renowned experts for both fields. Each panel member presents diverse viewpoints in order to provoke thoughtful discussion. To learn more about the upcoming symposium, as well as past symposia, click the link below.
